A Small Intimate Stan Hywet Elopement was just what we needed, 2020 has been a year. So many of our couples had to change their plans. Alisa + Russ had initially planned to get married in Florida and decided they didn’t want to wait, so they had a very small, intimate wedding at Stan Hywet in Akron, Ohio. I love blended families, and I love capturing the dynamics. This was no exception. Photographing Alisa and Russ, plus their kiddos made my whole heart sore!

Stan Hywet is one of the most gorgeous backdrops for wedding photos. It’s 70 acres of gardens and grounds that can provide a stunning and unique setting for your wedding ceremony. Our locations will set the stage for a ceremony that is stylish, dramatic, elegant or intimate and tailored just for you.

We were only there a total of two hours, however, we made the very most of two hours, and it was so refreshing to celebrate love (safely and from a distance) even though we were in the middle of a pandemic.
