A Black tie wedding in Sandusky Ohio, with Morgan + Erik. In the few weeks leading up to their wedding I had the pleasure of getting to know them, and what I learned about their love and about their families was a couple of things. They love to laugh, and they will make sure you are laughing too, and not just laughing a little but full-blown sides hurt laughing.
The bridesmaids had surprised Morgan by writing her messages on her old ballet ribbons from her shoes which were later adorned to the dress. There was no detail missed, including Morgan surprising Erik after the ceremony with an old police car to honor him as a policeman.
The laughter and love were evident when Morgan’s Dad gave his speech at the reception, holding up a pair of oversized underwear, and again when Morgan’s sister surprised everyone with a speech to the rendition of Everybody by Backstreet boys.
The attire, long black bridesmaids dresses, the groomsmen in black suits with crisp white shirts and black ties.
The reception hall was filled with dim lights, gold candelabras, and gorgeous white flowers everywhere.
This wedding had us laughing until we were crying and crying at the wonder that is Morgan + Erik’s love story.
